0 Quick note : Securing MySQL

1. Change default port. All trafic what goes to default port -> IPtables LOG.
2. Security permissions –bare minimum at first. Then enable one by one until no errors are shown in LOG file.
3. Remove MySQL from 127.0.0.1. Set up logging and dropping all traffic what goes to localhost.
4. Move DB to different store + connect by simlink.
