0 Installing Guest Additions in VirtualBox











Selecting Devices -> Install Guest Additions (or  Host+D ) the Guest Additions CD .iso will be loaded
















Open CD drive.













Select autorun.sh and Execute.

 

Enter your password and build process will start.



After install process, restart is required.

Edit the template file for the resolv.conf
Ubuntu server rebuilds this every boot.

 sudo gedit /etc/resolvconf/resolv.conf.d/tail 

 #add just these two lines >> 

 nameserver 8.8.8.8 

 nameserver 8.8.4.4 

Then save the file And then restart the service:

 sudo /etc/init.d/resolvconf restart
